Join our student ambassadors on an hourlong tour of our beautiful campus! You can get a preview of our campus through a virtual tour.
Your department will be at the heart of your FSPH student experience. Meet current students, staff and faculty in your department during these sessions. Rooms are as follows:
Biostatistics -Â CHS, 43-105
Community Health Sciences -Â CHS, 13-105
Environmental Health Sciences - CHS, 56-081
Epidemiology - NRB Auditorium
Health Policy and Management - CHS, 33-105
We will begin the day at the Ackerman Union Ballroom located at 308 Westwood Plaza. You can find a campus map, lodging, transit and parking information here. All day permit passes are available for $15 at a kiosk in parking lots. Please note that we are unfortunately not able to subsidize costs associated with campus visits, including parking validation.
As Admit Day is meant for a time to begin community building with your future cohort, we kindly request that only admitted students attend our events. If you have guests that would like to accompany you on your visit, we encourage them to tour our beautiful campus or neighboring Westwood Village, filled with many restaurants and shops, and rejoin you after the day's events.Â
Early April weather in Los Angeles can be unpredictable so please check local conditions in the days prior to your visit. Lunch and most departmental sessions will be held indoors. Attire for the day will be casual and if you plan on participating in the campus tour, we recommend comfortable walking shoes.
Our ambassadors will be available after lunch to provide you with a tour of campus and will drop students off in meeting rooms for departmental sessions. If you prefer to remain in Ackerman after lunch you are welcome to do so and a staff member will be available to guide you to your departmental sessions meeting rooms.
As of Winter 2023, UCLA is no longer requiring visitors to show vaccination status or a negative test taken within 48 hours of a campus visit. Masking for indoor events is strongly recommended, but not required. Please check the official COVID-19 campus page in the weeks prior to Admit Day to ensure that guidelines have not changed.
